Blessings in The Mail

It was a "good" day for the mail box. It is amazing what My Miz Rebecca sent from Oregon. Thank you so much, what a kind, and thoughtful, and talented, and generous dear, dear, friend you are.
I have a couple of more postings to do about her.

My kitchen is blue and white.
Flow blue plate!!! Blue willow plate and 2 saucers will go on the wall. The cobalt salt and peppers, and the shot glasses are in the window over the sink now. I love the light shining through them.

I am still blown away by this gift. Everything is found at Miz Rebecca's favorite digs...she finds the best goodies at the best prices....it's amazing really.

The child's cup and saucer are so wonderful. I love the serving spoon.

I have never had a mortar and pestle...and in blue and white!
Too perfect, and the words,,,perfect!!

Cat postcards Rebecca found, the first one has a squeaker in it.
I have cat pictures in the powder room.

These last two pictures are from The Scented Room. It is a wonderful book.

Another box contained these roses from my sister, I will really enjoy crafting with these.
Thank you Melodie!

One of our favorite magazines also arrived, another gift from Melodie.

It was a good mail day indeed.
I'm not done either, but I will split the mail into two posts.
I took lots of photos and did lots of reading,,,,my original to-do list went out the window.
What a fun blessed mail day.

Wow, what beautiful treasures to receive from a dear friend! I love the blue and white combination!

I also wanted to thank you for all of your sweet comments that you put on my flickr pictures. They warm my heart! You were asking where the covered bridge is located. It is one that is part of our subdivision and recently built as an architectural feature. I live on the hillside just to the left of the picture and can see the roof of the bridge from the back windows of our cottage. We live on the west side of Knoxville. If you ever come up this way, I'd love to visit with you!

The Scented Room was one of the first books to get me inspired to create. And thank goodness Victoria came back.
