A Fairy Godmother Please

I could use a Fairy Godmother,,,one to unpack and organize my life, the stuff....I am never moving again. Moving has been a chore, it seems to take me so much longer to get settled, and decide what to do with everything. I wonder why I have so much stuff....and I want to go to an Estate Sale today...how nutty is that.
I will be back soon with some things to share, I just wanted to touch base with you and let you know how much I have missed all of you and your blogs. I have tons to catch up on, and share.
See you soon!

Congrats sweet Marcie on finding just the 'right' house.
Don't stress out over getting settled, the hardest is behind you. Just enjoy each moment.

Know you are in my thoughts and prayers, sweet friend.

It's nice to hear from you, Marcie! Just think, the worst part is almost over and soon you'll begin to make wonderful, happy new memories in your new home. Remember to take time for YOU and "breathe"!!! Hugs, Teri xoxo

We are in the midst of a move - the house is filling with boxes, and I could do with the fairy godmother after she's settled you in. We're moving in two weeks and I have no idea where I'm going to put all the stuff. Crazy.

I used to move about every year, then I realized it takes me 2 full years to settle in.

Love the godmother notion!

Oh Dear! I'm sending you good vibes about this. Moving is always hard. I'm like you---waaaay too much stuff, mostly sentimental, in my case. Just breathe and know it will soon all be settled down!

Hi sweet Marcie!! Oh my goodness, moving is so very hard! Lots of time on your feet and figuring out where to put things ~ I'm so glad that you're at the new .house now though!! Take it in tiny chunks...then rest ~ and you sound like me, wanting to go junkin', don't you love the thrill of the hunt? I just hope "Hoarders" doesn't show up at my door one day!!!! :)

Marcie, The hardest part is behind you! Take a deep breath. Take care of yourself! In lieu of a fairy godmother, I'd take a crew. All the decorators have a crew. A crew would make so many things easier!

My dear friend, just remember that we all need all those trinkets and treasueres for your next creative projects! Do not get rid of a thing! And remember, when the Good Lord takes me, all my "treasures" are yours!

Marcie Yes...moving is VERY, VERY hard work.
And that is exactly what I said when we moved 11 years ago..after being in one location for 33 years....TOO much stuff...lots of it was sold to my "antique friends " and in a HUGE Garage Sale...and then we even had ANOTHER Garage Sale or two since we have been down here in Texas.

But you know what ..,,I would drop everything... and go to an Estate Sale in a HEARTBEAT.....given the chance this minute.
I think it an illness...but what a desirable one !! And there is no CURE for it..I understand.

SEE IF I CARE !!!

I do hope a fairy godmother and a couple of helpful angels come your way. Anyone settling in to a new home needs all the help they can get. Good luck on the organizing, and I hope you find some treasures at that estate sale.

Why do we do this to ourselves? I still have boxes I have never unpacked from when I moved here 12 years ago. Rest & catch your breath.

Hi Marcie!

First, congratulations on finding your perfect home. What fun you shall have decorating and creating for it. All will come together in good time.

I cleaned out my storage room and ended up with almost seventy boxes of items! Whew! I had some things left from shopping sprees over fifteen years ago that still had tags on them. I sold some and took the rest to Goodwill and it feels so good to have organized the room.

Blessings to you and yours,
