Oh Marcie, how I love these images of Victorian life. I think I was born in the wrong era for sure. I think I would have rather loved having a maid, don't you? lol hugs
Marcie, the paintings are so lovely. Did you see how tiny her waist is in the first picture? Goodness, she had to have been uncomfortable & couldn't even set down...lol Thank you for sharing these. They are beautiful. Blessings dear one, Sharon
Marcie, what beautiful images you've shared today. I LOVE that first one....that dress is just to die for gorgeous, and yes, her waist is amazing! I'll take the waist and the dress, please! Hugs, Sandra
Hi Marcie!!! So pretty, well at my house you will NOT see me dressed so fine for dinner unless we are at some fancy restaurant for an occasion!!!!And then, not dressed like that!!!!! hugs, jamie
Dear Marcie, I just dropped by from another site, as I was perusing things for my blog.
Your place is so very wonderful! I feel as if I've been in a little cottage in the English countryside. Thank you for your love and labor!
I am home from church this morning with sick grandbabies, so after devotionals I thought I would work a bit on my blog. My diversion to your own has been very refreshing!
Beautiful images. I love the maid's uniforms of years gone by. If I ever could afford a maid now, I would specify she must wear that vintage style as part of her employment ;) Maureen
I love all things Victorian, always have and always will. Come say hi over to my blog where I am having a sweet little giveaway too. Ends on Monday morning.

Sooooo lovely! The first reminds me of John Singer Sargent - one of my favorites. Hugs, Terri xoxo

Such great lighting in these- and such a delicate waist in the first image!
1909 was the year my grandmother was born!
