Inspired by Color

I was inspired by a another blog to put together some treasures in a pallet of color, one of my favorites. The wonderful blog is
"Dream In Cream", http://dreamincream.blogspot.com/
You will not be disappointed, and you "will" be entertained by wonderful eye candy and humor.

This was fun to get together a bunch of cream color small things in a group. I started with a dolls wardrobe trunk. Hauled it to the bathroom,,,as that window is the best light, and gathered the goodies,,it was fun. I could do this sort of thing all week. It was a good exercise in color sense as well. I may have to do it again in another color pallet. I'm thinking of antique royal colors,,or gold,,or........hummmm.

I may only get a "B" as I did put in some other colors,

Of course I didn't get much of anything else done, and I made a big mess.

Please treat yourself to Dream in Cream ...if you want to smile and sigh. Don't forget to check out the goods to purchase. I think Texas must be the best place to shop for antiques with all the shows and shops. When I win the lottery ,,,,I'm there! Who wants to go?

How fun. Everything looks so gorgeous. I agree about Texas being THE place. I have been to San Antonio a few times with my husband and we did a bit of antiquing in Bourne and Fredricksburg but I want to do a big antiques trip to all the spots I read about on the blogs, and maybe meet a few of these great Texas junkers too. Hi Marcie, to die for. Cream is such a soothing color, I like to use it with just a hint of a very pale green. Your vignettes are wonderful, thank you for inspiring me.

Oh I agree. There's something very rich about tone-on-tone shades.
