'Legend of the Guardians'

I adore owls, always have, always will.

I highly recommend seeing this movie of hope, dreams, and courage.

Remember to Turn my music Off before watching this trailer.

The author  is....Kathryn Lasky . Her web site is worth seeing, she takes you to her "messy" studio with out apologies. She is so real. I plan to read her new book about wolves....another movie???  I Hope so.

I saw this movie trailer the last time I was at the movie theatre, over the summer. It looks like such a magical film, one that children and adults can so enjoy. I'm hoping to see it within the next few days. Thanks for reminding me!

The CG in this movie is blow you away amazing. The feathers, the water...I could go on and on.
It is true that it is good verses evil. A lot of the movie though is spent developing the evil plot for the good to come in and swoop in. That may be a little scary for the real young kids. But I know my girl friends kids love these books. They are around 12.

Dear Marcie,

I love owls too! Thank you for sharing this wonderful movie with me! We loved it so much and the 3D was just amazing, as was the story! Justin is reading the books and then I am going to read them. Thank you so much for sharing the link to her web site. I look forward to visiting it and seeing her studio. She sounds like a lovely lady!I did not know she was writing a book about wolves. I do hope a movie comes out of it too!
Love you, Paula

Ah, thank you for visiting with me again! I had lost track of you and will be adding you to my blog roll posthaste! I soooo want to see that movie! I was going to watch the trailer again (watched it about a month ago), but then one of the hobbit songs came on. So I am letting that play, LOL! We ADORE Lord of the Rings and the Hobbit. You know that we have named our homes "Grey Havens", right? And would you believe that our new home is on a street called "Misty Mountains"!? Ah, the magic of it all!

See how I get to rambling? Sorry to go on and on, LOL. I'm so glad that you like my photos and are cheered by them. I hope to inspire and bring smiles to folks along my life path. I would be delighted if you continued to come back and visit with me!

Marcie,
I love the animation style they used for this movie, every little hair on their heads is so lush & vivid. I love owls too & have saved some beautiful illustrations from old readers with the intention of making an art piece. Your post has inspired me to get it done! Lisa
