Inspiration from Diane Knott

Inspiration, comes from many places.....this project started after I heard from...

Diane is so, soooo talented. A little nudge from her got me going....thinking...
where "have" I been???
I had to chuckle, as I had no idea how to answer.
I have not posted as much as I used to,,, not even inspired to create.
I am not going to over analyze it, but, just reconnect with my muse.
Thank You Diane.
I am sending you a big southern hugggg from an out of place, fellow Yankee.

I had the good fortune to find a book from 1960 that teaches Braille. It captured me, and for the three dollars, well, wouldn't you get it? It was one of those moments, you know that you know, that you know it's right, and you hold it tight to your chest and feel it means....something good.

The creamy pages, and the millions of thoughts of all the perforations, what it must mean to one who has no sight. It makes me so grateful for the gift of sight, and all my other senses. Helen Keller lost her sight and hearing, and became a remarkable woman that brought courage to millions of blind people. She was born only an hour from here,,,, click here to learn more. I read quite a bit about her, discovered to my disappointment that she was a socialist. Oh well, she did some good. We visited Ivy Green a couple of years ago, it is a very charming place.

I am further inspired to finish the piece in the first photo, and I am exploding with ideas. I have dishes in the sink, and I do not care.
Yea!

Have a creative weekend to my fellow blogger friends, you do make a difference!

Hi Marcie,
So glad to see that you are newly inspired to create...can't wait to see. Yes, so disappointing that Helen Keller was a socialist, ;-( but as you said, she was an amazing woman.
Love what Terri said about boring women! lol

Sandra

Oh, Marcie, this is giving me goosebumps! It made me think of Helen Keller - the most inspirational woman ever, ever born!
Oh, also...."Amazing Grace"!!! I was blind but now I see....
Yes, my fellow Yankee...goosebumps!
Whoa! Your muse is BACK!
Hugs and blessings!
Diane
PS: What you don't know is that I had a meltdown of my own yesterday - tears, lots of sadness and trying to remember the Serenity Prayer for things that can't be changed...but the wisdom to know the difference...and to do something else instead to make a wrong righted - just be grateful and move on counting blessings.

I was feeling the same way..I think my muse had left on vacation!
But recently I had a spurt of inspiration and now I've got a few things all ready for etsy..and now found my camera battery dead, and can't find the charger!! Oy-vey!

I am SO glad you're creating again..I must say, Marcie, YOU inspire me every time!! Looking forward to seeing your creation!
Blessings!
