We fished for catfish on Green Mountian Lake.
It was early,, and quiet.
I love the atmosphere and noise the bridge makes.
There were Canadian Geese, some on their nests.
We had grain fed catfish for supper this evening.
The best I ever ate.

We will go back...soon, to Green Mountian in Madison County.

Oh, I'd love to stroll up that river and walk the bridge. I love covered bridges and the sounds they make. I think about all the stories they could tell! Happy June!

I just love covered bridges! Growing up on the Illinois/Indiana line, we would often take day or weekend trips to seek out some of these treasures. Green Mountain looks like a lovely place!
