The Doll

If you like old dolls, this is a great book.
Out of print, but can still be found on auctions, and used book stores.
It is heavy and thick with a red velvety cover.

Frozen Charlotte's,,love the ones in the tub. (click on picture to enlarge)
German 1880-1940
Frozen Charlies...one showing off as usual.

These two look a little worried and suspicious.....

maybe they are wondering what I am going to do with the bloomers.
I'm kind of wondering too.
I'll let you know...Have a no worry  weekend!

It is amazing that there are any dolls left that are in this sweet of condition! Most little girls may have only had one or two dolls and were well loved, dressed often and went everywhere with their little "Moms".
Colton's favorite bear, "BB" - has been sewed by "mamaw" with carpet thread and is now longer and leaner than when I bought it for him before he was born! Thanks for the lovely photos in your blog to remind us of days long gone by.
Love you & Hugs - Joan

Have a doll book that I love too..we should really get these when they go on "special" sale at Barnes & Noble...because that is usually the end of them after that.
