An Old Christmas Card

When I opened this card, I was surprised it was for Christmas. There is no maker on the back and it has the cut-away corner frame in old gold that has tarnished. It is delicate and soft, I wish you could feel it.
It sort of suits my mood these days, soft and a bit tarnished, and the flowers,,,well, I think looking forward to a new year, new growth, optimism, and kindness.

Merry Christmas my Friends
I wish you Sweet Peace in the New Year

Marcie-

I just love old paper and cards. The paper softens and becomes so delicate with age! This one is gorgeous! It is interesting that many of the older Christmas cards seem so unrelated to Christmas as we know it today.

Merry Christmas to you!
