Ideals Magazine 1957

Happy Thanksgiving!

I hope you will take a minute to click, and enlarge, and read.

Now "thats" a pantry!

When the shelves are full of the harvest,,,only then, can one understand the sparkle in her eyes.
I am grateful to have back issues of Ideal's from the 1950's to share with you.
Enjoy your Thanksgiving!

I love these images, Marcie! I haven't canned in years, but I remember that same smile of contentment knowing that I had personally provided a stocked pantry for the winter. Perhaps next year I'll do that again! Thanks for sharing these images.
Happy Thanksgiving, my friend.

These are superb, Marcie! Thanks so much for sharing these great articles. I did enlarge the little guy praying over the turkey - LOL! Too funny!!! And I do remember my Mom and Grandmother with their full pantries with jars filled with pretty colored fruits and veggies to get us through the winter. Awesome post! Hugs & Happy Thanksgiving! Marcie, My Momma got the Ideals magazine all of my growing up years. I would set for hours and read the poems and look at the sweet pictures. I still have a few issues that were meaningful to me growing up. Love the poems you shared with us.
Have a blessed Thanksgiving!
