The Cart Before The Horse

There are amazing artists in Oregon. Two of my favorite are Jo and Dylan of,
The Cart Before The Horse
They are fortunate to live in Lincoln City, my former home.
This is a shot taken by Dylan on his evening walk, or is it hike.
It's no wonder they create wonderful folk art living in a place like this.
How I do miss this place.

Here is the great Logo and website.

How fun is this birdhouse. Jo blogs about the process at http://www.thecartbeforethehorse.blogspot.com/
I love their sense of humor and the way they think out of the box.
The expression in the eyes are fabulous in all the pieces.

Patterns for the painting quilts are on etsy and ebay.

This husband and wife team have loads of talent and a great sense of humor, and it shows in the creations. Dylan cracks me up with his weekly news letters and makes the music, and music videos using the dolls ...and all the props are created in their studio. Dylan is the king of props. Take a look !http://dylansnewsletters.blogspot.com/

Your amazing Jo and Dylan, thank you for giving us such fun and talent.

Thanks for sharing these artist & their information. And, I am so glad you liked all of my photos of my trip to California. I have been posting different ones for about 2 weeks now & have many more to go. WE LOVE THE CENTRAL COAST of CALIFORNIA! In fact, I think I have him talked into summering there in the next year or two. We need to escape the heat & hummidity of Texas in the summer. His job is a seasonal one & he has a lot of summer time off. So go back & read some older posts for more photos & check out the coming weeks. Have a great weekend.
