Marcie, Hi! Thanks for stopping by. Yes, we fared well during the hurricane. The weather this year everywhere has been awful. We had two really bad storms earlier this year - lost 5 willow trees and there was a tornado about 20 miles from here - very rare for northern PA!

It's so good to hear from you friend. I have been hoping that your summer has gone good. This summer has been a little hot this past month. For my area of Idaho, we usually only see a few 90+ days and the whole month of August was in the 90's. I am a heat loving girl, so it has been fine with me. I hope Sept. brings more sunshine also, cause I'm not quite ready to bring the sweaters out yet! We always cool way down at night, even when temps are in the 90's. We haven't had a low about 62 this entire summer, which makes it nice.
