  1. Oh Marcie, how I love these images of Victorian life. I think I was born in the wrong era for sure. I think I would have rather loved having a maid, don't you? lol

  3. Marcie, the paintings are so lovely. Did you see how tiny her waist is in the first picture? Goodness, she had to have been uncomfortable & couldn't even set down...lol
Thank you for sharing these. They are beautiful.
    Blessings dear one, Sharon

  8. Such great lighting in these- and such a delicate waist in the first image!

1909 was the year my grandmother was born!

  9. Dear Marcie, I just dropped by from another site, as I was perusing things for my blog.

Your place is so very wonderful! I feel as if I've been in a little cottage in the English countryside. Thank you for your love and labor!

I am home from church this morning with sick grandbabies, so after devotionals I thought I would work a bit on my blog. My diversion to your own has been very refreshing!

Much Love in Jesus Christ our Lord,

    Andrea

  10. Beautiful images. I love the maid's uniforms of years gone by. If I ever could afford a maid now, I would specify she must wear that vintage style as part of her employment ;)
